This was a great read on a lot of women of color that were a part of the suffragist movement that hardly get talked about.

I loved that this book showcased other women from diverse backgrounds â€”Black, Asian, Native American, Puerto Rican, and more that were just as important to help drive rallies, speeches, and eyes to not just the suffragists, but towards segregation, women's inequality, and voting rights not just for women but people of color.
