The Harlequin Blaze line was known for lots of steamy sex but that's not what made me want to read this book. I was truly intrigued by the prospect of a cowboy vampire. Jake arrives in a small Texas town with one goal in mind: to find and kill the vampire who turned him so he could be human again. Nikki has felt pressured to please others but just wants to be herself. Quirky characters rounded out this fun story.

1. I‘m ready for cooler weather. Not that it really matters because I‘ve been indoors for most of the last several months.
