Read for #SeasonalCozies it was book 2 in the Berry Basket Mystery series. Set in July at the height of blackberry season in Michigan at town‘s annual road rally & Blackberry Art School‘s 100 year celebration. When Marlee chases her friend‘s dog into the woods & he finds the skeleton of a former art student, the school & town are in an uproar. I liked this one a little better as some of the characters are getting ⬇️
DebinHawaii …more familiar but I still think she could edit the number down. There are also times I want to shake Marlee but more for her relationship choices than crime-solving ones. Still I may go on to the next book next month as it‘s set in August, I‘m on a roll with it & I do love the MC‘s rescue parrot! 🦜🩵
