pickI grabbed this at the last second to read to kindergarten over live zoom. I wasn't expecting underwear and pipe smoking. 😳 I don't mind reading books like this to a class on person, but I'm sure it's been banned somewhere. Awkward! Kids today have no idea!.
We got outside today! And then, this evening, my toddler actually sat and read 4 or 5 books with me. (He'll often sit on his own and flip through books, but sitting with me and patiently listening is usually a no-go.) #TodayWasASuccess #KeepLitsyPositive #AllMunschAllTheTime
The roads I need to take to get back home are currently closed because of snow and wind, so I‘m stuck at my parents‘ house with my brother‘s out-of-control dog. And I think I‘m starting to get sick. I do not have time for this.
❄️nay. I lived in a place for 60 years where I had snow. It was enough. I hated driving in it when others don‘t know how. ❄️No! SoFlo ❄️I loved to make a pot of soup, read, stitch, sew, and nap. Usually it just meant shoveling. ❄️ when I lived in Vermont, I loved cross country skiiing. Long ago. Now, it‘s watching out the window from a warm room. 😂 #helloThursday
1. Thomas's snowsuit was my absolute favorite as a little kid. My Mom would read it with so much animation and energy! Plus I grew up in Florida so the idea of needing a snow suit was so cool to me!
2. I had a bunch of Lion King figurines and play sets that I loved!
3. Anything with Velveeta Shells!
4. Cookies!

We had a bit of a blizzard overnight, so I spent the day trapped inside. Fortunately, this gave me the opportunity to get a lot accomplished. Unfortunately, I'm still super far behind on my usual reading schedule.
This kid's refusal to bundle up in his snowsuit is exactly how I feel whenever I'm going to have to venture out into the cold. #KidLitNostalgia
I'm thinking 🤔 my times seemed a bit whirled and wound up then, like a telephone cord, but my parents knew well for steering away from any wrong methods of psychiatry, which did resolve as being 'smart' for a kid. 😁 Library programs greatly helped, through my eye operations and still avidly reading, to show over any concerns. Here's my shoutout 💖 to our school teachers 👨🏫 getting us more insightfully, knowing and supportive. #queerbooks 🎀
#favoritechildrensbook A long-time Sp.Ed school teacher (on my eyesight needs) saw me as Thomas, fighting a snowsuit 🤣 same mud brown! Over the years, we were nightmares to each other. I sure recall, in the cartoon, a scene of a tornado-fight with the teacher, resulting in an outfit swap. I hated karate class, but loved my blue impact pad, and WCW Hogan doll. Black shorts, borrowed old buckle shoes, and mom's box of extra Avon tights. #riotgrams
