The Ghosts We Keep | 
pickIn my little reading challenge, I had to let go of ‘A Tale of Two Cities‘ as the hardest part of reading is starting the book, and as the start was quite slow I didn‘t get the flow. So, I moved to the next book on my list, ‘The Ghosts We Keep‘ and I finished it a hour ago. I am completely amazed by the style of writing and the accurate portrayal of grief. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Reyzl OMG! I love “A Tale of Two Cities” (and Dickens in general) and I was about to recommend it on Friday apropos the French Revolution. Give it a try, maybe later. 3y

Reyzl It is a very moving story and so sad, as Dickens as it gets. I read it at a young age, and it made an impression on me. Even though it is not a history book, I learned about the background of the French Revolution through its characters. The story is about people and so it‘s history. (edited) 3y
