pickFirst read of the #24B4Monday #Readathon completed and what a read! Captain Matthew Percy leads an expedition to Africa to sell ice and is led to an uncharted island whose people are not entirely of this world. This book touched on many timely topics and was just a rollicking good tale to boot. I‘m not sure I‘ve ever read something that was so relevant to the exact moment I read it. So glad the author mentioned it offhand at #VirtualBalticon!
