Things That Go Away | 
Another interesting picture-book from Italian author/artist Beatrice Alemagna - currently living in France - has been translated into English, which is cause for celebration. Here we have an unconventional format, with a thin, see-through vellum-like paper inserted in each two-page spread, altering the image, when it is turned. This device emphasizes the book's theme, that everything (except love) eventually disappears.
