Esther writes movingly as she tries to trace back her family to wartime Europe. This is a fantastic portrayal of family ties, community, endurance and the war-influcted trauma that threads through generations.

A nice little find while browsing the library catalogue today. Already started listening to her moving narration as she details her lost family from the Holocaust and tries to string together all the loose threads of her familial history decimated by World War II.
