Carly Brooker is a breeder of thoroughbred horses. The last winter was harsh. He lost his mother and youngest brother. However, it did bring his beloved Julia and her two sons to live with them. Carly and Julia married and now she is part of his dysfunctional family. Carly's father, Murphy Brooker, has always favored Carlys siblings over Carly. Every effort to please Murphy has ended in failure. Carly is hoping this spring will be better; after all, it is his favorite time of year.

Today‘s rain and the 60+F temperatures got them blooming! The whole yard isn‘t blooming yet, but I‘m scared that the near freezing temperatures starting tonight for a week will set them back. 😬😬 Enjoying these while they‘re here though!

Cinfhen Crazzzzzzy - but so happy to see them 🤩🤩🤩 2y

marleed Such a hopeful sign! 2y
Lindy Your daffodils look great. They‘re hardy blooms and will probably be fine in freezing temperatures. 2y
Suet624 Gorgeous! 2y
Megabooks @Cinfhen I know! It‘s insane how early! 2y
Megabooks @dabbe I remembered you saying that they‘re your favorite. We have about 3-4 times this many altogether around the yard. These and the ones beside the driveway have bloomed first. 💛 and thank you!! (edited) 2y
Megabooks @sarahbarnes @Suet624 thank you! 💛💛 2y
Megabooks @marleed they truly are each year! 2y
Megabooks @Lindy thank you! I hope so. Usually they break ground about now and bloom in early March, but we had so many warm days, they started coming up in January. 🤯 they‘ve survived several freezes while sprouting, but usually it stays warmish by the time they bloom. Just such a weird weather year. The first of many I‘m afraid. 2y
BarbaraBB They are gorgeous, I love that you planted so many! I hope they‘ll survive the cold. Climate is playing tricks on us 😱 2y
Cathythoughts Daffodils 🥰 2y
Megabooks @Cathythoughts 😁 I love them! 2y
Megabooks @BarbaraBB B, they are all over our yard! We‘ve got them in the front and back and by the driveway. We have another sunny day today, but it‘s colder. Such weird weather! (edited) 2y

#WindsofMarch @Eggs #Blossoms
Here is a nighttime pic of my daffodil that bloomed recently. Still getting snow here, but nothing stops our Daffodils from coming up.

The first brave daffodils have opened here in Pennsylvania, they are calling for some snow tonight, so I‘m not sure they‘ll last long....we‘ll see.

Megabooks I just posted some too! They are so beautiful! 5y
DGRachel Mine have already come and gone. 😭 5y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @DGRachel Wow! I‘m in Pennsylvania, so these are really early for us here...I usually see them in Mid April. 5y

DGRachel The weather here in NC has been so weird that they popped up early. Mom planted a bunch of bulbs last year and it was so nice to see how many actually came up, but they are almost all gone. My lilies are coming up now. They usually bloom around my birthday (end of May) but at this rate, they‘ll probably bloom in April! 5y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @DGRachel Yes, everything‘s early...climate change and COVID19, it‘s a crazy year. 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage Lovely! I‘ve been thinking of cutting mine and bringing them in. I‘m hardly outside in the front where they are. I‘d prefer to enjoy them before they go! 🌼 5y
Tamra Rays of sunshine! 5y
