panI didn't get on with this little handbag book at all! The main character is horrible: misogynistic, arrogant, and utterly disrespectful of the people and culture when he gets to Japan. I only kept reading in the hope that he'd get his comeuppance! The prose is annoying too, littered with cringe-worthy "lol"s and "rowr"s and italics for emphasis. Rubbish! At least it's short... ⭐
