I loved this one when I was a kid. Was it a Canadian thing or did US kids read these too? #novemberbythenumbers @Tiffy_Reads @JoeStalksBeck

julesG There's a TV show (drawn/animated) that my kids love. 7y
LeahBergen This was read to us in elementary. 🇨🇦 7y
BookNAround I picked these up in Canada when my kids were small because they weren‘t even available in the US. I don‘t remember them from my childhood either but a Canadian friend suggested them for my kids. 7y

Pickpick

My almost 5 year old loved it! Jacob Two-Two is 2+2+2 years old and must say everything twice as he is the youngest in his family and they never hear him the first time. He gets sent to a hidden children's prison in London for children that are rude to big people, where the hooded fang is in charge. Lots of humour for the grown-ups but I think a bit scary for many kids. My sister and I loved it growing up.

ReadingEnvy Oh my gosh this moVie is strange 8y
LeahBergen My teacher read this to us ❤ 8y
Blaire @ReadingEnvy I've never seen the movie, but we went to the play when I was in grade 2 or 3. 8y
Blaire @LeahBergen are you Canadian, I grew up in Winnipeg, and live in the states now, and no one seems familiar with this book. 8y
LeahBergen Yes, I'm Canadian. The CBC did a newer animated children's series about 10 years ago (or more). I watched it with my nephew and it was fun to see how Jacob's real-life siblings (all writers now) are portrayed. 😀 8y
