Thanks to Net Galley for the chance to read this. @kspenmoll I was thinking of Tarot when I saw this book, first in series. A car crashed into the corner of Xana's house and a man with a gunshot wound stumbles into her house. When she does a reading while he's passed out in her guest room, The Fool is uncovered in the spread. She knows to just go along for the ride when murder is committed. This isnt deeply complex and was just a fun book!
