Bennett is a painter and recent divorcée. After losing his wife‘s income and his gallery representation, he rents his suburban London home on AirBNB to stay close to his young adult daughter. The book follows Bennett and three guests as his life gets upended when he reopens his heart and life to new experiences. More contemporary fiction than romance. Loved this!

bailedMost Goodreads reviewers found this funny and charming. I found it depressing and hard to slog through. Finally gave up just past the halfway point.

This quirky novel embraces these questions. I really enjoyed it. It‘s well written, thoughtful, and simply charming. 4/5
pickA compelling story about an Airbnb-type Super Host and a few of the guests who stay at his listing. The Super Host is a little checked out and lets opportunities pass by without realizing that they are opportunities.
