The second book of the three McBride cousins and still ties to Eternity Springs. Tucker is another book in the Eternity Springs series that I just love. The group in Texas is great but I really love the Colorado backdrop more.

From the start, I adored Tucker. He was such a gentleman wrapped up in a delicious package of kindness, sincerity, and heart. I loved his commitment to everything he held dear. Swoon! I felt terrible for what Gillian endured but at the same time she did drive me a little batty. She was the character that had the most growth and luckily there were plenty of friends and family along the way to help her. Tucker was definitely the hero in this story!

Good. Interesting characters and story. Even though this is part of a series it is a good stand alone story but in some parts I still sensed that having met the characters before would have been beneficial to the story. Thank you for #StMartinsPress for inviting me to read this via #Netgalley.

Mehso-so

OK, apparently this is 17th (😳) in this series...and the first I‘ve read. 🤣 So while I didn‘t feel lost, there was definitely some backstory.

The writing was fine, but I had issues with both mains. I found Tucker too cocky, a tad chauvinistic and annoying as he approached “winning” Gillian as a military campaign (as he is a veteran). Gillian is a bit ditzy, overly emotional and too indecisive. ⬇️⬇️

robinb I‘ve definitely read better. 3/5⭐️
