Bullet Journal (9mm): 150 Page Lined Notebook/Diary | Cool Image
5 posts | 3 to read
A life worth living is worth recording, and what better place than this journal? These lined pages crave your scribbled notes, thoughts, ideas, experiences, and notions. Fill the lines, remember your life, don't lose your ideas, and keep reaching higher to live the best life you can. It all starts here, folks, but you'll need your own pen or pencil. Write on!

I plan on doing the Litsy A-Z tag this year, or atleast try to! High chance I won't succeed but hey, all apart of the challenge 😆 are there any rules? I'll have to check~

I was trying to keep with the Litsy colours but now it just looks like a kid's bullet journal 😂 although I'm not actually upset about that, I actually really like it! Looks super cute.

mariaku21 I like the look of this page! 7y

I haven't read much the past couple days because I have discovered the bullet journal!! Where has this been my whole life?!?! It is the culmination of every planner, journal, list of lists, and brainstorming notebook I have ever began! THIS IS WHAT MY LIFE HAS BEEN MISSING! Haha! Sitting at the coffee shop with a frozen coffee, a cappuccino muffin, and all my supplies building new pages in my bullet journal...bookshelf pages coming soon!! 😊🤓

LauraBeth Fellow bullet journal aficionado here ❤️😀 8y
MrBook Nice!!! 😎👍🏻👌🏻 8y
KimM Must find ❤️ 8y

callunakeep @LauraBeth Oh my gosh is this not the most fabulous thing ever! My inner OCD nerd is simply in heaven! 🤓 8y
callunakeep @KimM be warned, if you tend towards OCD at all this will instantly become an addiction! 😝🤓😜 8y
callunakeep @KimM Oh, and I only chose this book because of its name, I cannot speak for the book at all. I am currently using a Quadruled hard cover Moleskine. 8y
KimM Yep after I watched a couple of videos about it my OCD started twitching. Lol. But I think this my be the answer to what I want to do about tracking books. I'm nervous about online sites because sites can just disappear along with all of your book logging. I wanna go analog. 👍🏻 8y
MeganAnn I just discovered bullet journal as well. So addicting! 😍 Looking forward to seeing your book pages! 8y
marixa I keep trying to set one of these up, with mixed results. Do you have a web site that you consulted? 8y
callunakeep @marixa Actually I looked it up on YouTube and watched a bunch of videos by different people and got tons of ideas. Then I googled those ideas to see different ways of doing the same thing and went from there. 8y
marixa Thanks! I am halfway there, but was mostly looking at Pinterest. I never think of YouTube. 8y

And so the great bullet journal experiment begins. What categories should I add to encourage myself to read harder?

Notafraidofwords A book in translation! 8y
razmanda Ooh! Good call, @Notafraidofwords! 8y
bookwrm526 Do you do audiobooks? I have a notation for fiction vs non-fiction, but that's not usually hard to figure out looking back 8y

razmanda Not really, @bookwrm526. I'm more of a podcast listener since my commute got so much shorter. Nonfiction will mostly fit under memoir/bio, but if not I can always add it! 8y
BookishFeminist Any genres you don't read often? Those are always great to log. 8y
razmanda @BookishFeminist I tend to be a bit of a snob and avoid sci-fi, fantasy, and romance. I know I'm missing some great stuff but don't know how to get to it, if that makes sense. 8y
BookishFeminist @razmanda I totally understand; that's not uncommon. If you're interested in trying & want recs in any of those categories let me know--I have ideas for lots of accessible stuff for folks that don't read it regularly. :) 8y
bookwrm526 @razmanda those genres are also totally my jam and I am ready with recommendations if you want them! 8y
Ericmanciniwriter What about time periods? Books written before 1900, etc 8y

Do any of you use a bullet journal to track your TBR and read lists? I'm thinking about making the jump to challenge myself to read outside my comfort zone and my own demographics.

bookwrm526 I have never seen a journal like this. I have a spreadsheet, and a journal where I write musings and reactions. The spreadsheet is where I keep track of things like format and authors of color or authors who are non-cis, and where the author is from. 8y
brendanmleonard I adore Bullet Journaling. Mine is very rough but I do keep TBR lists in it, as well as my thoughts and daily reading goals. 8y
BookishFeminist I've never heard of this way of journaling before, but this looks awesome! 8y

razmanda @BookishFeminist this is a quick how-to link for bullet journaling in general. I think I want to chart out POC, LGBTQI, and country of origin for authors. http://www.thelazygeniuscollective.com/blog/how-to-bullet-journal 8y
BookishFeminist @razmanda Thanks for this! 8y
brendanmleonard I love bullet journaling, but I will say it's easier when you start out to find your own way/method. The bullet journal blogs can get super intense 😂 8y
razmanda @brendanmleonard Yeah, I made the mistake of looking at Pinterest and had a small panic attack. 8y
brendanmleonard That's happened to me. I say take a deep breath, look at the basic instructions on bulletjournal.com, and go from there. 👍😃 8y
