This book was just okay. I felt like the character was just making poor decisions throughout. It felt stereotypical. The content and idea was an interesting premise, but the writing left me dissatisfied. Overall, just okay. ⭐⭐⭐

Audrey has a million followers online, but one has decided to follow her for real. She has to decide who she can trust and who she needs to keep at a distance. In a world full of social media, someone is always watching, someone is always ready to follow, and someone is looking to connect. Highly recommend!

There‘s an interesting book in here, and I was pretty hooked throughout the first half. There‘s no denying that Barber is a talented writer. But everything falls apart in the final act, as characters make ridiculous decisions and the writing hinges on bombastic twists.
This is my second Barber, and meh. Once again, she takes a topical subject rich with possibility (the lives we curate on social media), and creates a shallow and vapid story. The main character is unrelatable, unremarkable, and impossible to root for. The stalker is easily identifiable early on and is garden-variety creepy. And the ending was a wasted opportunity for a twist. So many better thrillers out there. 2⭐️
While it delved into the unbelievable, seriously, how many guys can one girl have obsessed with her, and I get that she was trying to give you many suspects, so you would be kept guessing...and she accomplished that quite well. Overall, I was thoroughly entertained by this cautionary tale of the digital age. How much of your life should you share on social media? This story will make you think twice about that.
I loved Barber‘s first novel but this missed the mark. The characters were all self-absorbed and horrible. The suspense was good, but I didn‘t actually care about the people who were in danger. It‘s a fast read about social media stalking, but not super memorable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ #netgalley
Ok, this is one creepy read about obsession and stalking!

This book grabbed me instantly with an intriguing and timely setup. Who hasn‘t known someone whose obsessed with their social media image or better yet, been that person themselves? It was fun for awhile, but then the story ran out of steam. It‘s hard when a book leaves you with no real likable characters. I was waiting for karma or a lesson to be learned, but these characters just remained varying degrees of selfish.
Hehe mood for this weekend 🛏📖 these bookmarks were the cutest find at Target tonight! Most people were walking out of Target with food, but I walked out with books and bookish items 😅📚💕 #tbr #bookmarks #weekendvibes

Well, that was creepy! This one will make you question what you put in social media, who you think you know, and every noise you hear or think you hear at night!
