Few new books to be added to my TBR! Haven‘t been able to read as much with a newborn but I hope to get through some of these.

I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join in if you want!

Oona has a very special condition, she lives in random order, one year at a time, different stages of her adult life, spanning from 19 to 60 years of age. We find out how she gets to experience seven such years, while she is mentally and emotionally just in her twenties.
Oona's exploits are imbued with a message: live in the moment, appreciate and make the most of it, do not take things for granted and live with no regrets.
I loved the idea of this book, as Oona turns 19 she is transported to another year in her life on New Year's Eve. The first time she is 51 years old and needs time to get her head around what is happening. It certainly would be strange to know that at the end of each year you will either become older or younger. It was well and clearly written.

I guess a little like Oona's life, you just don't get the end sense that it flowed well, it feels unresolved and unfinished. I enjoyed the twist, but even the deeply sad moments still left me dead inside. Which is either my current mood, or the book's fault (maybe both!) It's an interesting premise for a book, but somewhat falls short. I'd just go watch sliding doors and the back to the future trilogy if I was you.
