Since I liked Kulti so much, I went ahead and stocked up on more books by Zapata 📚
This is a cute friends to lovers story. I thought the plot was good. I loved Sacha and for the most part Gabby, towards the end she got on my nerves. I don't think it depicts rock star life accurately but it is fiction and fluff at that. 3 5 ⭐️

Of course I instantly loved this book. But I can‘t describe to you the love I feel for these characters. Especially the love interest. I think it‘s one of the first MZ books I‘ve read that has sunshine x sunshine trope and she did it beautifully.

I think Sacha is Zapata‘s reigning cinnamon roll hero. (Maybe her only cinnamon roll?) I really enjoyed how sweet this slow burn, friends to lovers, romance was. Probably gonna be a reread for me. I tend to dislike Zapata‘s heroines at the start and love them by the end, but I liked Gaby from the start. It was fun to see her dynamic with her brother and best boy buddy. Also, the poop jokes cracked me up, what can I say, I‘m a still kid at heart!😘
As much as I like Zapata‘s Wall of Winnipeg, she‘s not a great stylist, and constructs painful sentence structures. Add in her obsession with scatological references, and it can seem like she‘s a 12 year old boy. This book mentions “crap” 31 times, and only 24 of those are figurative usages. Someone get her an editor! #romantsy
Not my favorite of Mariana's books; but I definitely enjoyed it!
It just took me a while to get into this one; but as per usual, like all other Ms. Zapata book, it did end up bringing a smile to my face and warmth to my heart
First time reading this author on recommendation from a friend and it won't be my last! 😄 I really liked this book - got to know the characters through the book and pretty likable too #slowburnromance 📖 #sweetromance #JuneBooks
This was not my favorite Mariana Zapata book. That's not to say it wasn't a good book, it's well written in her usual style and the characters are likeable enough. But, where some of MZ's "slow burn" romances are roaring fires this one is more of a camp fire, perfect for roasting marshmallows. It's sweet and fun but not as intense.
This is the last book I have to read and then I will have read all of Mariana Zapata's books! Only a few hours left on this audiobook and then what am I gonna read ??? 😭😩 Guess I just have to (im)patiently wait for her next book hopefully before the end of the year! #marianazapata #slowburnqueen #idontwantittobeover
