Not a huge fan of police procedural fiction, however it was an enjoyable read nonetheless and very suspenseful towards the end. Not bad but wouldn't go out of my way to read the second book in the series.

Here is my June #tbr pile! Hoping to read more than I have been the past few months! I really need to read some #botm books that I have piling up. (Not in picture are the 2 books for one of the readathons this weekend)
Found Stuart Neville while searching for more Irish authors. Diving right in! 🤓
Solid dramatic thriller, albeit predictable. Two boys kill and the story starts with release from prison. The crime is revealed via flashbacks, & the present deals with reunion, probation and sibling dynamics. Det. Serena ponders if the right boy was convicted but I found her dull & insipid.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
