I was listening to the What to Read Next podcast today and the guest said she'd been tracking her reading since 2004. I journaled my books before joining Goodreads, starting with just titles/authors, evolving to short reviews and notes. I wasn't sure when I started, but I've kept all my old journals. 1993!!! That's 23 years! Yikes! Here's the first page of the first journal. Don't judge me! I can't believe how "light" all the books were back then.

CherylDeFranceschi I started doing this in 1980. I love having it all written down inside a journal! I can remember when all my life events were, too, from looking through it. 8y
