Star of the Sea by Janet Halfmann (non fiction, published 2011) is an informational book about starfish and the ocean! It tells things about the ocean & starfish in a cute way that would interest children. A good way to teach about it that will hold their attention.

I would have this book in my classroom. It would be a more challenging read but I think the students would like the pictures.

Star of the Sea by Janet Halfmann, 2011. This book is about a sea star and it‘s adventurers in the ocean. Each page is a new fact about the sea star. The pictures fill the page and are colorful which makes the learning more enjoyable. In the back of the book it gives more details.
