A gentle detective story set in a part of Scotland I know very well. Well written with great descriptions that take me right back to the places I know so well. Maybe one day I‘ll get to go back and wander those country roads once again.

Another beautiful day in paradise. Finished this book sitting in the winter sun. A pleasant read. Main character a woman. Alice a Detective Inspector. Set in a part of Scotland that I know well from many visits there with my partners mum. Mum is still there age 99 100 in December. It is #6 in a series I see. Another one from my TBR shelf.
