Picked up this pretty lady at the library used book section 😍 A cozy set in Texas is kind of a rare thing. They're usually in CA, New England, NYC, or NC. Like, a ton of them are set in one of those four locations 😳 #ilovecozies #interactingwithguysfromhighschool #givesmeheartburn #souncomfortable #yuck

drokka This one is pretty good. I liked the secondary characters better though. 8y
queerbookreader @drokka Did you try the second one and see if the main character improved any? Was there just not character development with her or is she just not written very dynamically? 8y
drokka I just realised that I completely missed your question. I don't know if you've read the next one or not, but I felt it had a lot of potential, but was just a lot of doing things against common sense and a bit illogical. I had problems with it, and the protagonist did not manage to endear me. I'll try the third one, but if it's not a hit, that'll be the end of me and this series. 7y
