Pickpick

Returning to this world of boop-able snoots and a surfeit of gore, Beasts of Burden manages a fine balance with humor, emotion, and beautifully rendered art. #comics #dogsoflitsy

I was browsing Hoopla hoping to find a few comics or graphic novels that would work for my last few #LitsyAtoZ2019 reads & I found Beasts of Burden. It doesn‘t fit for J, T, U, Y unless I kinda bend the rules a bit go by the artist‘s last name instead of author‘s last name, but I really enjoyed it! I loved vol. 1 so I borrowed vol. 2 & I‘m looking forward to reading it once Minerva allows me to use the iPad! #CatwithBook #ReadingBuddy #CatsofLitsy

Sace That comic looks cute. Just added it to my Hoopla list. 5y
TK-421 @Sace The art is beautiful and a lot of it is cute & funny but I‘d say it‘s more horror than fantasy. I should warn that the threats they face do result in some animal deaths. 😢 5y
Leftcoastzen Minerva!😻😹 5y
Sace @TK-421 oooo. Thanks for the warning 😢 5y

Mehso-so

This collection was not as good as the first collection, but it has some good story lines. Still shows how awful humans are, but less focused on the abuse that the human deal to the animals and more on the general evil of humanity. Some set ups for future plots and answering some previous plots. GREAT art! Enjoy this if you like spooky stories and light horror. Avoid if animal abuse if a trigger
