I love this book because it is very creative and there are so many activities that could go along with it. It is also very engaging as you can create actions and voices that go along with the story.
This story was always one of my favorites growing up because it let my imagination run wild. I used to think about what it was like for jack when he was up the beanstalk with the giants. I always wanted to see what a Giant looked like.
This TL, Jack and the Beanstalk, Juan y Los frijoles magicos, this book retells the classic story of Jack and the Beanstalk by providing it in Spanish and English. I truly love the fact that is bilingual. This will help ELL students understand the story but learn new vocabulary words. I think this book will be great in RT. It will allow students to participate even ELL without feeling left out or confused.

Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum I smell the blood of an Englishman. Be he alive or be he dead, I'll grind his bones to make my bread.
There have been so many fun adaptations of this story. I think that teachers could pick and choose what versions of the story fit their classroom needs while still having the charm of the original story.
This traditional story tells us about a boy named Jack. He is sent into town to sell a cow but he trades the cow for “magic beans.” His mom gets mad at him for giving away the cow, and she throws the seeds out the window. A giant bean stalk grows and Jack climbs it. Jack meets a giant who tries to kill him. This is a classic tale and I think that it‘s a story most children know and love. Great for the classroom!
