pickOne thing I love and this series is though it focuses on the two make leads it still has a cast of interesting characters. Characters that are developed as the series goes on.

In this one, a friend is framed for murder, and sent to an asylum with mysterious goings-on. Meanwhile, Whyborne is having nightmares about a dweller in the deep and Griffin's family comes to visit with a prospect for respectable marriage. It's a fun series, and I'll continue it

Impulsively joining Dewey's #readathon because stuff's going on (rabbit in GI stasis, AGAIN -- it's Biscuit, for those who know my buns) and I need a distraction. I barely got started with this yesterday, so I'm going to go cwtch up under my weighted blanket and try to lose some of my tension.
