Oh my goodness this is the longest afternoon ever. Ready to get off and have an off day. About to sort this box of books so hoping the afternoon speeds up. I hate that the fourth is in the middle of the week. Everyone else I know is off the whole week 😭😭

wanderinglynn I don‘t have the whole week. I only get tomorrow off. 😕 6y

My Overdrive hold came in. This has been on my TBR for *SO* many years. 27 hours, though 😬

rabbitprincess Good luck! I have this one in print. 7y
rockpools @rabbitprincess Have you read it yet? 7y
rabbitprincess @RachelO Not yet. Debating whether to try to collect all of the books in the set before starting, or whether I should read it before buying the rest. 7y

rockpools @rabbitprincess Fair enough. It's one of not-many complete series that our library has on audio, so for once I don't have to think about that! 7y
rabbitprincess @RachelO Awesome! It's frustrating when the library doesn't have all the books. 7y
LeahBergen I‘ve been meaning to read this author for years. 7y
rockpools @LeahBergen He was one of my Gran's favourites - I read Diana from her shelves as a young teenager. Don't remember much but have been meaning to read this series ever since, so guess I enjoyed it 🤷🏻‍♀️ 7y
Andrew65 To Serve Them All My Days is a true classic, as is The Horseman Riding By Trilogy. 7y
rockpools @Andrew65 To Serve Them...'s also on the TBR. One day! 7y

After spending the day working from home (unexpectedly), I went to the library to drop off books and treated myself to a book from the used-book corner. Bonus: it was on my to-read list!

Connemara (the rabbit) is indifferent.

My girls played a four game tournament today. Four games in one day! So proud of their dedication and hard work! But I was also #thatmom that chose to read between games instead of socially interact. 😂 #awkwardmom #softballmom #booknerd #kidsoflitsy
