so-soDamn! You know when Wattpad publishes it's own blend of cheesy fanfiction, the books are not going to have any real merit. Hence, I'm a Gay Wizard is one craptastic guilty pleasures you read and forget about. Basically, a RIP-off of Harry Potter and The Magicians, with the protagonist emphasizing his LGBTness. Love it or hate it, it's basically meh.
so-soI love the idea of this book. Two LGBTQ kids ripped away from life as they know it, are put into a new life that's differently and equally dangerous but in this new life, they have the power to change it.
I love the characters. I had trouble with the pacing of the plot and some of it's support was inconsistent. Johnny's dialect teetered young and old both, making it hard to stay with him.
I still don't know if I liked the book or not.
