I read The Accursed Kings series in Hungarian many years back and finally they are availablein English so I am slowly getting my family to buy them for me :) I have so many books that I don‘t really want many new ones but these are exceptions. And we are trying to be more mindful with hubby, too, and I love Tara Brach :)

George R R Martin was right when he called these books the original Game of Thrones - so many characters and all of them plotting to become King (or even Queen) of France. At one point I was struggling to remember who was who, and had to keep looking back to the list of characters at the front. Boy were some of these people evil! I really did enjoy this book and look forward to marching on with book 5 soon.

Starting book 4 in the excellent Accursed Kings Series by Maurice Druon, the series that George R R Martin describes as the 'original Game of Thrones'. Looking forward to this as was left off at a crucial point at the end of book 3.
