After a five-mile walk along the sea-shore, I wandered into Geo. C. Grieve's stationers and book shop with a pocket full of pebbles, limpet shells and sea-glass, so this book seemed the appropriate buy. Beautifully illustrated. And a Berwick-upon-Tweed bookmark to add to my collection 😊🐚📖🔖
Yesterday my reading helped me with my mountain craving - today‘s #nfn2029 read is fuelling rather than satisfying my need for the ocean! It‘s a beautifully illustrated guide to the seashore focusing on the individual nature of pebbles. 🌟
Whenever I go to the beach I end up with pockets full of pebbles! So in lieu of being able to actually visit the beach, I treated myself to this beautiful little illustrated book on pebbles. Angie Lewis illustrations are gorgeous.
