Containes Four Short stories which are ok but nothing special or thrilling. The stories are too superficial to be bounding but easy to read and entertaining enough.

The book is an easy to pick up and read. Each stories is long enough to get you interested, short enough that you can easily read each in one sitting. my favourite was Tempe first case, it was interesting to see how she ended up as a forensic anthropologist and how really all down to Slidell. One of the reason I love this series is that I always learn something new, from the protocol when climbing Everest, birds and effects on airplanes etc.

Kathy Reichs is one of my favorite authors. She is the reason I started reading crime novels. Reading this book for the short story "First Bones" that I haven't read yet.

I always love Kathy reichs and this book did not disappoint at all. As it's a collection of stories it's easy to settle down and read a whole story at a time Good bedtime reading
