Dark, tragic, and unflinchingly honest, this is a haunting but ultimately redemptive memoir. I read it in one sitting, but perhaps shouldn't have on Christmas Eve. Lots and lots of potentially triggering CW: drugs, alcohol, dangerous situations, discussion of the crimes of those in Walpole, and more.
