#bookspin for June- really interesting and witty read… I was upset to have a non fiction choice 🙈 but this was really enjoyable!
Fascinating. The basic premise: there is an over-reliance on economics/quantitative analysis to make decisions when these things should be a tool not the main determining factor because people do not think logically. Sutherland recommends psychological logic (aka alchemy). He mostly focuses on marketing (he is in advertising) but his premise has application in other areas.
Book 2 for #joyousjanuary
#weekendreading
I started the tagged today & so far, it‘s really interesting. I‘m listening to the audiobook and I suspect I‘ll like it enough to buy a hard copy as I already want to underline & take notes.
I‘m also trying to finish The Hidden Life if Trees as I need to return it to the library!
Thanks for the tag Andrew! 📚💙
What are you reading this weekend?
Currently reading Alchemy - loving the foot notes. This was on my Christmas list after watching Rory Surherland‘s TED talks - it‘s absolutely fascinating!
