This was a beautiful story about the life of a dog, the inner workings of a family, and their love of their pet Trixie. This book ran a whole gamut of emotions. Totally recommend.

Trixie, a retired service animal who came to live with Koontz and his wife when she was three years old. Trixie did not live a particularly long or remarkable life, but her time with the Koontz‘s was precious to both her and them. “In every way that mattered, she lived a big life.” This is her story. 🐶
Sweet and moving. A tad too much reference to Koontz's faith for my taste to be perfect but still a pick.
Will finish this tonight....expecting to blub. So here's a picture of cute pups.
Because I forgot The Kite Runner at home and can't go back, I ran to a local second-hand bookshop and found this gem! 😊
