The very first book I ever bought on Amazon (way back in 1998) was a volume of the Sailor Moon manga because none of the local bookstores carried manga. It was the beginning of an enduring love of both Amazon *and* manga. I must admit though, I dearly miss the days of waking out of Borders once a month with a stack of manga 30 volumes high. Now there's neither Borders nor that many new releases each month. And yet the TBR is still growing. 😂
