A cute follow-up sequel, but a bit more predictable than the initial installment. The characters are fun & whimsical & there is a more exploration into the world, but the development is not as meticulous as in Flunked. The friend group is fun & the teacher characters are interesting, I just wish there would have been a bit of a faster pace, higher stakes, & a more complex story line. Still, I had a good time reading & will continue the series.

As Gilly‘s adventures continue, she continues to make a splash in the kingdom thwarting evil fairies and storybook villains, catching the eye of royalty and commoners alike. Making new friends and discovering new plots, Gilly even takes on a princess or two in this one!

I have done no reading this 4 day weekend because I‘ve been watching Charmed on Netflix.

I loved this show growing up and was so excited when I saw Netflix added the complete series.

I loved this book! It was a great follow up to Flunked. I loved all the characters and how they were taken from their fairy tales and were put together in Reform School!!

A charming continuation of this sweet middle-grade series - I adore fairytale re-tellings! 💗💜💗

This book was as cute as the last one, Middle School level reading.

Currently reading. Part of me feels silly posting this as a woman in her 30s reading middle grade fiction, but I also enjoy animated movies and carry around a Strawberry Shortcake tote so why not.
