1. Goodreads (despite being run by the evil empire), Google spreadsheet and a book journal.
2. I appreciate a strong 1st person, but 3rd person gives me more usually.
3. I'm off work next week bc my mom is coming home from rehab, so I'll be busy w/ that (or watching Parks and Rec- I'm currently on a Netflix binge)
4.Too many favs but @Eggbeater and @petersonks15 are 2 of my favorite humans on the planet.
1. Agatha Christie / Laini Taylor 2. Either one works for me. But more nights in than out. I can‘t hang like I used to. 3. Current times or the future 4. @MiyakoBunny @Mommamanzi #triviathursday @GarthRanzz
I haven't been able to stop thinking about this short but incredible novel. It tells the parallel stories of John Turner in the 17th century and Sal Malley in the 20th. Any detail would ruin the brilliance of the wonderfully tangled narrative. The eerie sense of both place and displacement is remarkable, particularly since the story is dominated by dialogue spoken by charters whom we can only slowly piece together from their own speech 👇
