I cannot get over my love for this series, especially this book. It was an emotional rollercoaster of heartache and sarcasm that only #jimbutcher can manager. #codexalera #princepsfury #fantasydecemberreads #readingchallenge

Tavi's Carne name... bwahahahaahah!

Audio editing issues aside, another great volume. I'm sooo ready to see where this ends up, but don't really want it to end.

On to the final chapter!

There are some definite editing issues with the audio - I'm not sure if I'm missing things or not. :/

Book five of the Codex Alera series. This book was action packed and just when you think things couldn't get worse/harder/bleaker they do. Similar to Butcher's Dresden Files series, the action, the intensity, and the stakes keep escalating. Great characters. I love the strong female characters. one more book left in the series and I don't want it to end.

Can't wait to discover how this wraps up. I adore Tavi and Kittai to pieces!! (Hopefully my spelling isn't too dreadful - I've done these all on audio...) I love that the various side plots and the ensemble cast all move each book forward; none of them feel extraneous.
