Review: Coyote Moon by Bagram Ibatoulline and Maria Gianferrari, 2016, is a nonfiction story about a coyote and his journey to find food for the day.
Blurb: I would use this story in a classroom during a unit about local wildlife since it is a factual depiction of how a coyote finds its food. It's a good example of the genre due to the accuracy of the content.
Quote: “Full-bellied, they will sleep. Until the moon wakes them again.“

I would maybe use this in a classroom setting if I provided additional information just because it could be used to help teach about coyotes and the danger of them.

I did not think this was a good nonfiction book because I do not think that the subject was adequately covered and there needed to be more information provided.

“She sniffs the air, arches her back, shakes her fur.”

I like this book because it teaches children about how some animals act! They may not always see these actions occur but they can learn about them.

Coyote Moon by Maria Gianferrari was published in 2016. The book is informative in which it discusses how coyotes act and hunt down their prey. They often come out at night and are quiet to eat other animals. The illustrations help exemplify the words!

I really enjoyed the facts at the end of the book and thought they were very informational

I think this book is perfect for young kids to read and learn about coyotes. I thought it was full of interesting information and definetly suggest it!

This book would be perfect when discussing animals in the classroom. The children can learn more about wolves and what they to do survive!

I feel like this story is a great source of information about coyotes and what they have to do to survive. Overall, this was a really informational story!

This book would be perfect for younger children who are interested in coyotes. The book isn‘t super wordy and an easy read.
