Lucrezia Borgia is an interesting person as the inside description of her shows. I loved reading about her. I had some issues with the narrative choice, sometimes the storyteller is really present in the novel and that pulled me out of the story at times. But other than that, this book was a hit with me.

Next up.
A novel about Lucrezia Borgia. I hadn‘t even heard about The Borgias until I watched the TV series with the same name a few years ago. Quite an interesting family.
#backpackeurope I spent an interesting time in Italy with Lucrezia Borgia, but now it‘s time to move on. I‘m heading for Austria. This is the first book by Nobel Prize-winning author Dario Fo. I wonder what his other books are like. This one wasn‘t quite my cup of tea.
#backpackeurope I‘ve just arrived in Rome. I‘m looking forward to getting to know Lucrezia Borgia. (I just love Europa Editions!)
On my TBR list. An amazing story about Lucrezia Borgia, the daughter of a pope and only female head of the Catholic Church. She has been cast as a murderess, temptress and femme fatale. But she also created the first credit union, helped save several Italian cities and was a patron of the arts.
