Started a book about the German people. It is from a traveler and not really an expert but still interesting to me.
pickI have been listening to this audiobook off and on since November- the narrator is excellent. That said the Goodreads reviewers have their talons out for this one as not a researched history. It is not, it is a traveler answering the question of why he travels Germany. A self styled “Germaniac” this is full of “anecdotal Faceciousness”- wry and funny. That ends as the book does in 1933 when it is inappropriate in the face of messianic infantilism.
Did a little drinking today at our local German Town's Christkindlmarkt. Had great fun with my family and got to see lots of cool arts and crafts. Not to mention brought home lots of strudel! 😋
Now on to reading!!!!
