panThis. Was. Awful. I stuck with it because it was short, and I wanted to know how it ended. But it was not good. Two of the four main characters were 5 yr old kids, and I‘d bet anything the author has never actually been around a child that age. Or close to that age. All the characters were poorly written, the pacing was bad, the storyline went all over the place. Don‘t do it y‘all. And, no idea why there‘s a bird on the cover; no birds in the book
Ya‘ll, I went to the library to pick up a book I had on hold and the used bookstore next door had a sale going on. I picked up these 7 books for 70 cents! Some are out of my normal realm of genre but they all sounded interesting and it‘s always good to branch out.
