Set during the Gilded Age of 1890 in Boston's high society, The Hesitant Heiress is written in first person perspective of the heroine Amaryllis and is a nice historical romance reminiscent of Regency era novels.
I received the book via Celebrate Lit Tours and was under no obligation to post a positive comment. All opinions are solely my own.

This was a very enjoyable book. The main character Amaryllis was one of those characters you loved but got so frustrated with. I wanted to tell her to just listen to what Nathan has to say. I am looking forward to the rest of the series
