The Book of Hiram
The Book of Hiram: Freemasonry, Venus, and the Secret Key to the Life of Jesus | Christopher Knight, Robert Lomas
2 posts | 1 read | 1 reading
It started as a personal quest to unearth the origins of their order’s ancient rituals—but 14 years after they began their search, Freemasons Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas have discovered much more. The Book of Hiram brings their mission to an amazing close, as it painstakingly rebuilds the long-forgotten story contained in the scattered rites and ceremonies of Freemasonry and puts forth explosive evidence drawn from the latest archeological discoveries, the Bible, and early versions of Masonic rituals. What it reveals is “The Masonic Testament,”a parallel narrative to the Bible, with events that go unmentioned or unnoticed in those sacred pages—including a secret science of astronomy that they find encoded in the Bible. The study concludes with the startling revelation: that a lost science that changed the world before, could change it once again.

Bailedbailed

Disappointed! If you have not read any of Knight and Lomas' works, do not start here! Matter of fact just forget this one exists! Their original collaboration trilogy (The Hiram Key) is superbly researched and presented! This must have been sourly thrown together to meet publisher demands! It even seems to arbitrarily discount previously well researched theories without collaborative evidence.
This might be the first book I have ever bailed on!

I asked for this book as a xmas gift about 5 yrs ago. I was curious about this book after I read the 1st one of the same authors. I enjoyed the previous one so I wanted to find out if this book is as interesting as the first one. I have not finished the book. I got bored.

CassiM Honestly, if you read The Hiram Key, this would be boring. You need to read the 2 follow ups in that trilogy; The Second Messiah and Uriel's Machine (I actually, accidentally read UM fist, loved it, realized it was 3rd so went back for the others) 7y
