This is culinary cozy mystery and it is set in #Singapore The main character is Rosie Lee, older noisy lady and owner of the restaurant Aunty Lee‘s Delights. The mystery part of the story was okay, but the culinary side of the story is sooo scrumptious 🤤 Perfect, easy reading before bed. #ReadingAsia #Booked2021 - baked goods on cover

Auntie Lee‘s Chilled Revenge is the third book in the Singaporean Mystery series and the third book I‘ve read for #cozyinthesun ☀️ Although this book‘s mystery was probably the most interesting of the series, several characters are annoying and the wrap up was not very surprising. Most of the scenes take place at the cafe Aunty Lee‘s Delights so the descriptions of food are amazing, plus there are recipes in the back of the book!

Librarybelle I enjoy cozies with food recipes! 5y

Day 23 #JubilantJuly #Revenge Two foodie mysteries with revenge in the title or subtitle. One set on The Big Island of Hawai'i and one set in Singapore--the third book of a series. Apparently revenge truly is a dish best served cold. 🍴📚😋

RealLifeReading I've not read this installment of Aunty Lee but it seems a bit odd to put a photo of baked mooncakes which is definitely not a "chilled" dish! (edited) 7y
DebinHawaii @RealLifeReading Yes, if I remember correctly they are mentioned in the book but there were not many cold dishes called out in the book so maybe the title is the misnomer!? 🤔😆I did make a chilled soya bean curd pudding with mango inspired by it for me review. 👍 7y
RealLifeReading I guess "chilled revenge " sounds better than "baked revenge" ? 7y
