In the past few days I‘ve broken my 2020 habit of only checking the news cycle once a day. Predictably it‘s not made me feel particularly good. So perhaps it‘s time to look at this article about quiet.

This book I have never forgotten & I feel should be read as much as Woolf‘s Room of ones Own.Tillie Olsen raised 4 kids on everyday jobs but really longed to write.Finally, she did. Her struggles & the struggles of other writers inform this text on creativity & the many things that thwart the ability to bring a creative project to life.She not shy away from issues sex ,class & color.Her speculation on what society has lost due to Silences,epic.
1- On public transport - that annoying tinny sound when people have music on so loud it burst through their headphones and we all have to listen!
2- Pie first, followed by a small slice of cake!
3- Lucky ( a ginger Tom cat of enormous proportions!)
4- Romance / YA / Thriller
