The graphic novel series is so so for me.
I love this series for kids, but I feel like so much is left out in the graphic novels.
Don't get me wrong, I am also a huge lover of graphic novels usually.

Laundry and reading time!
It was another fun adventure with Jack and Annie, but contains ghosts, mummies, and other somewhat scary scenes for littles ones (my kids are 4 and 2). They still really enjoyed it, but I questioned whether to just skip this book. We read this during breakfast and they seemed ok. Just surprised at the somewhat spooky themes.
Okay, the black cat was a little cheesy but my daughter liked it. We are really getting into these books!! Book 28 of 2019
Kiddo is reading to me (grudgingly, for some reason). I‘m about eight hours into #24B4Monday, with some help from this one. My goal is twelve hours, so fingers crossed!

Magic Treehouse Mummies in the Morning, is an excellent HF book written by Mary Pope Osborne and illustrated by Sal Murdocca. It won the New York Times bestseller and would be perfect in the classroom for IR. I found great questions for each chapter of the book at https://www.superteacherworksheets.com/m/?s=book-magictreehouse-mummiesinthemorn...
This book is MF. I like that the characters in the story are learning as they go through their adventure in ancient Egypt. Here they learn about egyptians, hieroglyphs, pyramids, & more. This is the 1st book I've read from the series; I liked the story and how it was written. I would have these books in my classroom. #UCFWaltersLit
