The beans are done! I felt like some Puerto Rican style beans. They've been simmering since 6 am. What I love about them is that they are stewed in a tomato, onion, cilantro and garlic sauce (blended smooth) and have little surprises like salt pork, green olives, capers and little cubed potatoes. For a one pot dish, you simmer it with chicken, stew meat and sausage.
