There may have been a tiny bit of book buying done this morning & two library books came home with me (I was in a thriller mood) when I returned four books today. 😬📚The thrift store had a BOGO deal today so Since We Fell & The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian (a #blameitonlitsy pick I've never read) cost me $1. The tagged book is a sequel to a book I loved & also cost me $1 at the library's sale book section. #bookhaul

This book, and "Whistling in the Dark" its prequel, are PERFECT summer reads. Both tell the summertime adventures of two sisters in 1960 Milwaukee. I listened to both in audio, read fabulously by the author, and enjoyed every minute.

The follow-up to Whistling in the Dark, which I also recently read. Anyone born between ~1955-1975 will appreciate the nostalgia this book creates. Lots of feel-good stuff. The author reads both audiobooks & really does a great job with inflection. Highly recommend both books!
