I was fresh out of high school and trying to work out wtf I wanted to do with my life (I started with a business admin certificate at TAFE) when I found these - probably amongst the first urban fantasy series that I picked up and WOW - I loved urban fantasy! We had some good years! I never finished these as I was sad about the authors passing - but never say never!

I‘m sucked in to this series now!

I‘m on page 60 of 308 of Once Bitten, Twice Shy: I love that this story just jumps right in and gets to the action! Been away from my go-to urban fantasy for awhile, but oh man it feels good to be back! Jaz Parks is a kick-@$$ heroine and I can‘t wait to see where her secret assignments take her! I‘m sucked into this world for sure!

Took me some time to get into this but enjoyed it by the end. Shall be continuing the series later in the year 😁

1. Barking - Ramz. My dad's had it on repeat for weeks 😵
2. 3 and a half/4. Took me a bit to get into it but only 70 pages left and starting to get right into it. Sequel already bought 👍🏻
3. Witching Hour by Anne Rice. My edition was just over 1200 pages.

If you're interested in #HalloweenHorror or #scaretober, but prefer to keep it pretty light here's a great choice. Also a terrific #debutnovel and first in the series. It's a vampire story with some CIA thriller thrown in for fun.

Sadly, the author passed away unexpectedly at just 45 years old. #booktober

I'd forgotten how much I love Jaz Parks ❤️❤️❤️ halfway through book one and only putting the bookmark in because I have to be up early 🤔
